IMAC is a bi-annually event, organised by the School of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The first IMAC 1 international conference was launched in 1995. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform that brings together researchers and practitioners in the accounting field to share their experiences and ideas. This year, the conference is themed "Emerging Theories and Practices in Accounting".
The renowned Professor Robert Chenhall from Monash University gave the keynote paper entitled A Critical
Evaluation of Modelling Within the Balanced Scorecard. ARI participated in the conference by sending several staff and PhD students. At the same time, ARI director was also invited to take part in the conference plenary session this morning.
