Prof Omar has a very impressive credential particularly in the areas of Islamic Finance and Risk Management. He will be here in UiTM for a week and ARI hopes to invite him again in December 2010.
ARI will be conducting a few collaborative research projects with Prof Omar in these areas. As Prof Omar is also an accountant by training/profession, he will also be collaborating with ARI in Financial Criminology research projects.
