ARI congratulates another PhD student, Dr Sharifah Norzehan for passing her doctoral examination today, with minor correction. We are targeting that she will be able to graduate in the forthcoming convocation in May 2011.
Sharifah's thesis is on Management Accounting Innovation and Zakat Management: A Case Study of a State's Zakat Centre in Malaysia. Insyaallah, ARI hopes that Dr Sharifah Norzehan will soon be able to participate actively in ARI's research niche area in Financial Criminology and Islamic Accounting/Finance. In her thesis, Dr Norzehan identifies several Islamic theories and models that support management accounting innovation.
