ARI wishes to inform members that three of our journals: Malaysian Accounting Review (MAR), Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Journal (APMAJ) and Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting (JOFRA)* are in the
Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) Ranked Journal list.
ERA is basically an initiative by the Australian Research Council (ARC) in promoting research and publication. Now that our journals are listed in ERA, our next course of action is to further improve on the frequency of journal publication and to promote the journals to other authors in different continents. (*Note: since June 2010, the Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting has been acquired by the Emerald publication Group UK, hence, the ownership has been effectively transfered to the company).
