Tier 1: Corporate Integrity System for Malaysia
The two-tier Corporate Integrity System for Malaysia is an initiative by the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (MII). The initiative is a collaboration between MII with four entities namely the Accounting Research Institute (ARI), University Sains Malaysia (USM), Nottingham University Business School (Malaysia campus) and INCEIF. The first tier comprises a self-assessment questionnaire survey targeted to be administered on compliant, ethic or integrity officers of business entities. Premised on twelve dimensions, the score will gauge the perceived integrity system of companies. The second tier will benchmark a company's integrity practices with other global players.
For an organization, the second-tier instrument can be used by the management team to evaluate its own practices. Today, our team met to finalize the questionnaire survey.
