The second day of the workshop deliberates on organizational as well as operational strategies of the research entities.
Included in the "research entities" category are (i) Centres of Excellence (CoE), (ii) Research Interest Groups (RIG) and (iii) Research segment or division of faculties and state campuses. The workshop started with a briefing by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation)on research aspiration of the university. Heads of Research Management Institute (RMI) and Heads of the University's Strategic Planning Unit. Discussions include strategies and milestones towards the enhancement of the MyRA scores for each research entity. As incentives, the university has allocated special "seed research funding" for qualified research entities. It's heartfelt to know that the university (UiTM)has the highest number research collaborations from among Higher Learning Institutions in Malaysia...
