UiTM's Research Management Institute (RMI) conducted a special workshop with selected heads of Centres of excellence to discuss strategies, activities and key performance indicators (KPI)for the forthcoming 10th Malaysia Plan. In the discussion, it was requested that RMI play a more proactive administrative role in supporting COEs to fulfill the RU requirements. It was further suggested that the 10% research-inclined lecturers be placed at the COEs.
