The two-day conference to be held on 16 & 17 February in Kuching, Sarawak is supported by four Sarawak state entities namely Sarawak State Government, Sarawak Convention Bureau, Dewan Bandaraya Kuching and Sarawak Tourism Board. The conference is preceeded with a one-day PhD colloquium which was held today, on 15th February 2012. Beside paper presentations by PhD candidates, two internationl professors presented keynote speeches. Professor Dr David Crowther from DeMonfort University, United Kingdom spoke on "Doctoral Research in CSR" and Professor Dr Klaus Tochtermann, from ZBW German National Library of Economics presented a paper titled "Digital Library Support for Doctoral Research in Economics".

ICGA 2012: PhD Colloquium
The UiTM-ACCA Asia-Pacific Centre for Sustainability, one of the eight research centres at the Accounting Research Institute (ARI)is co-organizing the 2nd International Conference on Governance and Accountability with several international agencies such as CSR Asia, Curtin University, DeMonfort University, SRRNet, iGonGGFESR and SEBELAS MARET University, Indonesia.
